paint

my father, Stanley sourelis, was a painter. He kept a studio in his home for most of his life so I grew up with the smell of oil paint and thinner.

I love it still.

painting isn’t a huge part of my practice, but, as with all my work, sometimes a found piece of wood or canvas inspires me to pull out those oils.
